lowering spring/ shock/ strut confusion

im still a little new to suspension mods but i cant seem to find a solid answer anywhere.
i have a 2010 wrx limited hatchback and i purchased eibach pro-kit lowering springs.
i understand i need to replace my OEM struts.
while looking around i came across the koni sport series yellow shocks.
if i purchase these shocks/struts to go with the lowering springs do i need to buy other replacement parts as well?
or will installing these two parts be all i need?

it's been awhile for me since I last sold my '08 STi but why would you need new shocks/struts? are the origs going out? if they are then it's prob a good idea to do both at the same time. car seems fairly new, unless it's like a high mileage unit, so I wouldn't bother with new bushings etc. I thought the eibachs only lowers the car like 3/4" if even that much? I don't think that small of a drop would effect your OEM struts/shocks. just make sure to get a proper alignment when done.

there is only about 25xxx miles on the car.
i was reading and eibach says it lowers the car 1.4 in front and 1.2 in rear
i read that the OEM struts dont handle drops well and its smart to replace them with lowering springs

The prokit drop is subtle enough to use with Oem struts. I installed them on my 06 around 11,000 miles and I now have 66,000. Still no issues with my struts. It rides just the same as it did with oem springs

Yeah no problem. The sport line kit is the one that has a more aggressive drop. That's the one that may cause issues with your stock struts.

was the 1.4 1.2 in drop accurate on your install?

you bought the car new right? judging by your join date i asssume so... unless you found a veryyyy low mileage slightly used car lol
