Geever, I bought a set of 16" steel wheels for my 2013 WRX from the TireRack and mounted 215x55x16 snows on them... works great.
Saves the original wheels from the Vermont salt! Those summer meats are worthless in the snow.

hey guys wondering if I can buy steelies and also buy 225 55 17 or 215 55 17 snow tires and didnt know if they will fit on my 2011? or do they need to be wider tires?
also is it possible to go down to say a 225 55 16 in rim and will the brakes clear?

16 inch '02-'07 wheels will fit a 2011 wrx.
Do you have a wrx or a sti?
