Suspension Set-up Advice...05 WRX Wagon

Its very easy aroiund town. Don't hit parking stops with air dam, or scrape on dips/driveway entrances. Just right. Rear fenders rolled just in case, but didn't really need to.

They didn't make wagon yellow springs when I was in the market, and the wagon blacks were unavailable. Which begs the question if the above car is on yellows or blacks.

If they can get wagon yellows I'd get those, but even with the sedan ones my front dropped more than my rear so they are fine (no "saggy butt").

So here's my what I'm leaning toward at this point...

Spring/Strut:

-Koni Inserts (All Around)
-RCE Yellows (Wagon Specific)
-Whiteline Comp C Front Top Hats
-Group N Rear top Hats
-Whiteline RCK
-Eccentric Camber Bolts

Or coilovers...(still having a hard time walking away from the idea):

-BC BR's w/ Swift Spring Upgrade
-BC Camber Plates

-Fortune Auto 500 Series
(Camber Plates Included)

-Stance Coils (Still Need to Research)

I have sourced a lightly used set of struts and inserts...just deciding if the adjustment is worth it at this point...probably not considering how those RCE Yellows look and perform.

...if I go this route I could likely afford to grab a set of GC8 Aluminum Lower Control Arms as well...

The springs are black.

As far as I know, the only wagon-specific RCE springs were black. But, feel free to call them to confirm.
To me, they are the ultimate dual purpose springs and are great paired with the Konis. Ground clearance is perfect for a DD. As long as I still drive it on the streets ( I have to) I have no desire to make any changes to the spring/strut combo.

For me, I got rid of aftermarket camber bolts when I got the Com-C strut mounts. I just didn't trust having 2 sets of camber bolts in the front. The aftermarket ones in the lower holes seemed wimpy, easy to loosen. Try it without the extra camber bolts...

^^ Ill do some digging on the RCE Wagon Specific Set-up. If the yellows allow me a little more drop I'm not opposed to saggy butt spacers...

So, the RCE Yellows are wagon specific. Thy make the blacks in wagon specific fitment. I touched base with RCE and it seems as though some are running the yellow sedan springs on the wagon with saggy butt spacers with great results. I believe this is what I'm seeing with the yellow bugeye in previous posts...

Found a set of wagon struts with Koni inserts already in them...well 3/4. Tracked down another and bought the needed insert for them. I think I'm going to take the advice and upgrade to Com C front hats and GroupN rear.
