    around a 1,000

    zax
    12:36 PM
you won't get coilovers worth a **** for that

    Mikie13
    12:36 PM
if you can't go higher than that, then don't get coilovers

    go for spring/strut combo

    zax
    12:37 PM
even a spring/strut combo is going to load you up for a grand

    xFalleNx
    12:37 PM
    yup

    DiRty Impreza
    12:37 PM
    dont get kyb's!

    xFalleNx
    12:37 PM
if you can't afford good coils, go for good spring/strut combo

    EVO_KILLER_2008
    12:37 PM
i was thinking lowering springs at first but i see nothing but bad coming from that choice

    DiRty Impreza
    12:37 PM
    gr2's r sh1t

    zax
    12:37 PM
    what choice?

    xFalleNx
    12:38 PM
    why is that

    zax
    12:38 PM
there are a thousand different springs and a thousand different struts

    EVO_KILLER_2008
    12:38 PM
    lowering springs

    zax
    12:38 PM
    WHAT LOWERING SPRINGS?!

    DiRty Impreza
    12:38 PM

    EVO_KILLER_2008
    12:38 PM
    tein

    zax
    12:38 PM
    and what struts?

    xFalleNx
    12:38 PM
    there are awesome spring/strut combos

    zax
    12:38 PM
    yes, because tein is garbage

    xFalleNx
    12:38 PM

    EVO_KILLER_2008
    12:38 PM
    kyb

    DiRty Impreza
    12:38 PM
    no kyb i said!

i did the same thing, kyb gr-2's on tein springs. garbage

    zax
    12:39 PM
if you have RCE springs and tokiko d-specs you will blow just about every coilover out of the water

    xFalleNx
    12:39 PM
without coming off like an ass, why do you want coils over a spring/strut combo?

    zax
    12:39 PM
    becauseracecar

    DiRty Impreza
    12:39 PM
    haha

    zax
    12:39 PM

    DiRty Impreza
    12:39 PM

    12:40 PM
some people are just misinformed that coils are the best thing to buy

    zax
    12:40 PM
    mostly evo guys

    xFalleNx
    12:40 PM
and for the most part, no one needs coils

    DiRty Impreza
    12:40 PM
    less u wana go helladumb

    xFalleNx
    12:40 PM
    so that's why i ask

    Mikie13
    12:41 PM
    yeah

I'm hearing "lowering springs" as opposed to improve handling/performance springs...and thinking he may just want to go low for the looks

    EVO_KILLER_2008
    12:42 PM
exactly it but i still want good handling

    zax
    12:42 PM
    hmm
    I don't get it

    xFalleNx
    12:42 PM
a spring strut combo will give you exactly what you want

    zax
    12:42 PM
if you're not going for performance, why do you want to make your car more inconvenient?
    dirty
KYB GR2s are good OEM replacements
but if you go with a spring rate higher than 200 lb/inch, you'll need something a little beefier

Re: RACELANDUS COILOVERS FOR 2008 WRX

Considering coilovers in the $1000 range suck from a performance standpoint, what do you think ones that cost half that will be like?
