Knocking Sound when turning! Help Prease!

So im sure you've seen this kind of thread before, but i thought I might ask. So I have a 02 WRX Wagon (my famree wagon). Recently, I have been hearing a knocking sound when pulling into a parking spot at low low speeds. It feels like the front end isnt moving smoothly, its like movement of the car is stuttering. I mean when im driving at a moderate speed and turning. I dont hear it or feel any irregular movement. So I assumed it was my CV boots cause i had a similar problem with my little EK Hatch. So I took it to a Subaru specialist and let him drive it around for a couple hours. He even put it on the rack to check my axles and CV boots. He said nothings wrong with it. Everything under the car is fine, the CV boot are good and axles are perfect. So i took it home and the sound was gone. I thought OMG this Subaru guy has magic powers just by sitting in my car. However, I noticed the sound only happens when the car is heated up or been on the road for quite some time. So right now I am searching the world wide web for opinions from other subie owners. What do you guys think? Thanks

Sounds like a bad front or center differential.
