Winter steel wheels for 2012 wrx

If you don't want to choose the steelies on tirerack you can spend about $20 more on each wheel and get alloys - $79 each vs $58 for steel.

But those alloys look so cheap and ugly that I would probably prefer steelies. Then people will at least (hopefully) know that they're just my cheap winter set instead of thinking that I chose those alloys as my aftermarket wheels.

Honestly, I like the look of the steelies on my car....and apparently other people do too. I get a surprising amount of compliments on them...

I work for a collision shop so I have a buddy who works for an aftermarket company that I usually get really cheap parts from and he said he can get me the rims for like 20 bucks a piece so I think im just gunna get the tires from tire rack. I just wanted to make sure I got the right rims from him as far as size and width and offset. Are

running steelies myself for the winter - you don't have to worry about curbing them! Got all four 16" for $100 off craigslist. Guy was super chill, called me and made sure they balanced up all right.

they're round, tires fit on them.. and they're made from STEEL.. a ferrous metal made from refining iron ore.

I live in an area with some pretty good winters to. not quite NY but pretty close to the same kind of winters. i used my stock Rims for winter but I use the Hancook winter line and i can freaking climb a tree with them on my Wrex gotta recommended them
