Here is that part I have to sand down. I rolled it a few times and it kept rubbing. I found out it was catching the bumper

I feel I would have much more rubbing issues due to my tire size..

But your wheels aren't as wide. I have 255/35/18 and it rubbed really bad. The no Lu reason I say to roll in increments is so you don't end up rolling more than you have to. Does or did it rub the way it is now?

Believe it or not it rubbed pretty bad at stock height...the fender was literally cutting slices into my tires from either hitting turns or bumps on the road. I rolled them slightly and now I don't rub anymore.

I'm just worried that when I lower it (say an inch) it will create some issues although I'll be rolling my fenders all the way up....maybe not though.

Then yeah I would roll them all the way just be careful. And make sure to sand the bumper piece and only roll to the same height on the opposite side

Have you noticed any decrease in steering response/ turn-in capability with the wider wheels? They look awesome on your car by the way!
There has been no decrease in anything. A 265/35 would be the widest I would go if you you decide to go with the 18x9.5. Just because of the 45 offset. These is only a finger gap between wheel/tire to my front struts. So not sure if the 275 would rub the strut or not.

275 would fit fine, but rub the inner fenders, you'd have to heat them with a heat gun and remold them.

    Thoughts on 18x9.5 - e30 on 245 or 255's???

not sure if it'll be too aggressive, not liking for stance look, more like flush with minimal camber -1

What camber are you running and what mods to make that work?

18x9.5 et 30 is not a direct bolt on setup. You will need to camber and you will need to roll rear fenders and possibly heat up/bend some front inner fenders

Not sure on the camber. I had to roll the rear a lot on my previous setup 18x9.5 +35 these bolted right on with no issues. No front rolling and I have no rubbing. I am also lowered on tanabe df210
