Just wanted to share my experience. Ran 275/35/18 on rota dpt +44 18x9.5 5x100 for a season. About 20 auto-crosses and 2 track events. Had rce bilsteins with yellow springs (roughly 0.6 lower). The front was about 2 credit card clearance to strut. No front fender or strut rub. But after adding a more aggresive camber at 2.2, front would rub strut when tires heat up. As for the back, a roll was needed.

For people looking for performance, I would recommend getting a +45 offset wheel (assuming 18x9.5 is already locked in). That way you can play with 2/3/4/5/ spacers to get the perfect fit. 275 is very tricky as u don't have much room to play with, get a tire that is too wide and u would have to do more work to make it work. I am currently looking at the pole position 4 (275/35/18) that is on sale from tirerack as my next set.

Anyone running rpf1 18x9.5+38? I just got my set and now I'm trying to decide if I should get the continetal dw in 255/35 or 265/35.
I only plan on dropping my car 1" with rce black springs.
    Thanks

Yea that's what I figured. I think the 265/35 would look better too. I will still only need to roll the rears tho right? No mods to the front fenders?

edit: nvm going with 255/35/18 cuz they only have 2 in stock for 265. the continental has aa rebate offer for a nice hd camera too which is cool.

So I'm about to pull the trigger. I'm set on the XXR 527's 18 X 8.75 +35. I'm going back and forth on the size tire. I was thinking 245/40/18 but I was looking at rsutton1223's build thread and he had 35's. I live in Pa and potholes are a concern. Do I need to be concerned with my AWD w/40 or 35? Which should I go with? I have Bilstein/RCE black suspension also. I anticipate rolling my rear fenders also. Thanks in advance!

doesn't matter either way, you're just picking a larger or smaller sidewall

If you're already planning on rolling you could do either size it wouldnt matter, you could probably fit a wider tire as well

If potholes are a concern, I'd stay very far away from XXRs.
