Also Im not certain where you guys are coming up with the need to roll fenders on an 18x9.5 with an et of 38. I ran a 275/35/18 cooper tire on my 2011 and I had very very little rub only when stock, none when lowered. so a 255 or a 265 tire should result in 0 problems.

Love how the condensation looks like a matte paint job.

sorry if this has been covered.. everywhere I looked cant find a straight answer... this coming summer/fall I am going to buy 18x9.5 38mm Rota Grids for my 2012 wrx sedan... I dont want to roll anything if i can help it. would a 255/35/18 fit that? or should I look at different wheels? thanks in advance.

You'd probably be fine. I run 18x9 et35 on 255/35/18 starspec ZIIs. The car is lowered on RCE yellows. I ended up rolling the rears.

    You on stock suspension?

Im running a cooper 275/35 as well. They are the new cooper zeon rs-3 tires and I like them. I pulled/rolled the rear fenders flat, no rub, ever.

If you would have looked, instead of assuming they were different and that I dont know what I am doing, you would see that there is no size difference. You would also see that I took into accout the wheel/tire weights, so they are within .5 lbs of one another, by going with a heavier tire in the font than the rear in order to offset the weight difference in wheel weight.

forgot to say that i bought the coopers used at 7/32nd tread depth
