if it's only short term, running just the rear will be fine- not long term though

I've got a blown rear driver side strut, so im getting both rears replaced. I read a bit about the d-spec series and sound pretty good for what I've read. Anyone have any experience with these? And is it fine to run these in the rear while having stock front struts? (i plan on getting fronts when the money comes around in a couple months) and do i have to do anything with the springs with these or are the stock ones all set? thanks
