Hola Forum. Its been a minute. I have an interesting spring mod.

I purchased a set of Tein H techs shortly after I purchased my 05 sti. I found that they evened out the wheel gap perfectly. They are about midrange in spring stiffness, but i wanted something softer. I wasnt going back to stock. I had my eye the H&R OE sport springs. I liked the progressive springs with a little softer spring rate, but I didnt like the wheel gap ratio. So i poped my stock rear springs in, and just used the front H&Rs springs. Perfect wheel gap plus improved street ride. FYI I noticed a little more front end grip resulting in more neutral handling. I hope this helps anyone looking for a more streetable set up.

It still looks mismatched. The rear is noticeably higher than the front.

No it's not. If it is it's definitely not noticeable. Maybe a few milimeters. Look a bit closer bud.

i can still see it as well but it's still better than the 4 foot wheel gap from the factory either way you look at it
