I'm going to try and put much of the suspension/reference material for the 08/09's in one thread

starting w/ the oe alignment and ride heights:

it appears the 08/09's are able to get close to the same front camber as the previous gen w/ the oe eccentric bolt -1.0 - -1.3

refer to the alignment sticky for tips/tricks for optimizing the alignment

here are the front and rear suspension schematics w/ torque specs

    Front

    BRAKES

brake dimensions the 08/09 share the same front brakes as the 03-05 WRX- this means it utilizes the same rotors and pads, the rears are brand new so the pads and rotors are different than any previous Impreza

the pad FMSI numbers are front D929, rear D1114

    929

This is good stuff. I'm still trying to figure out if the dampers are the same between the 08 and 09.

they fit the same, but are valved slightly differently- not as different as we first suspected (due to the increse in spring rates)- so I'd skip an 09/10 "upgrade" on a 08- not as much as an upgrade as one would have thought

the tops are firmer front and rear on the 09/10 however
