I think a 235 wide tire (on 8" wide rim) would be nice, but I am sure you would have to roll the fenders unless there is an offset that would work

The bans are documented, he or Weasey can IP ban them from there. Unfortunately, it seems like certain threads are doomed to be invaded like this. I wish we had a mechanism that disallowed users with < 50 posts from participating in a given thread once it's been attacked.

I guess the spamming was at least a free bump for the thread.

    ok. two more wheel options

    boost in hyper black

    OR

    torque in flat black

those are the two closest to what we are looking for that are available at the moment and we want do have a color of a wheel that will interchange with other colors better.

the wheels will initially go on a silver WRX 5 door instead of the blue one. The black wheels would look good on just about any color...

Hyper black might look nice on WRB but i don't think flat black would.

Where are you ordering them from? Subydude? Just curious as I've been looking for someone who has torque R's available in gloss black.

    yes, subydude.

the wheels will go on a Silver model initially and only be transferred to another color of the buyer of the silver one does not like the wheels.

they dont have the torques in any black other than the flat black which is why I am considering the hyper black (kind of a black chrome) in a Boost.

oh oops I got mixed up yeah I think hyper black will look really nice then if its a silver car. I like the torque style better but the boost is pretty nice too.

So the 08's have TPMS I take it. Its a nice feature but it makes changing wheels kind of a pain. They are most likely pretty expensive. Most car companies are using the same ones and when I checked for my Z they were about $75 a piece.

Yeah, the '08 have TPMS. I checked around, if you get wheel/tire packages from discount tire or tire rack you can get the tpms for about $150.

If you want two sets of wheels then you need to re-purchase these and have them installed. I am probably just going to take my existing TPMS sensors out of my stock wheels and install them on my BBS RE 18x8 in Diamond Black that I just picked up, FYI, BBS is running a sale right now.

Edit just found this, tirerack sells these for 152 dollars a set.

this link may ore may not work for you TR hates hot linking.

Thats what I did when I got my wheels for the Z. It costs a little more but having them delivered to the door all mounted and ready is worth it.

With the one Nissan uses if you get new sensors the dealership has to reset the system to recognize the new ones. Don't know if this is the same with Subaru but might be a good idea to find out.

    Don't the 08's need a 50 sidewall for 17's?
