STIs are known to have some loud struts as is...so I imagine lowered it would do the same thing. But the Tein H-techs I mentioned are an inch or less drop and it is only the spring, so it would minimize some cluncking. Its enough to eliminate wheel gap a bit and provide for a little bit of a lower stance. Quite classy IMO...

...and I too would also like to know how you "lose" Brembos... "Its not as if its a set of fcking car keys is it now....!"

agile got my appointment messed up so i wont be able to get it tuned til 4/6/07 going to the track friday ill post my times

well I went to the track on friday and ran a 12.6 at 108 then a 12.7 and a 12.8 with tbe and intake a few other sti's up there with same mods plus cobb were runnin like 13.1-13.3 crazy can't wait til fri til I get my cobb and tuned

kk, i just got to stage2 with some other mods, here is what i have:

• Drop in box air filter - True Flow
• MAF hose - Perrin
• Bell mouth with hi flow cat - Helyx
• High Flow catback - HKS
• Rear sway bar - cobb
• Rear adjustable mount and endlinks - cobb
• Sport Srpings front (2.0'') and rear (1.5'') drop - cobb
• Rear strut brace - Cusco.
• ECU reflash with cobb stage2 map

my car has at this point a bit less than 5k miles on it and i do not want to upgrade turbo untill i get to 20k miles on it or 15k. what else can i upgrade to my car to gain torq or whp? i want to do some other upgrades before take it to a tuner. will headers help on this ?

yeah, thats what gets me worry, I read that equal length headers do that, but i have also read about peple that port and coat their stock headers and gain some HP, i was thinking about getting this:

Springs...didn't see that on your list. Something simple such as Tein H-Techs or Eibach Pro-Kit, will be a minimum drop and you will get bit lower center of gravity, making your other suspension components even better

Really...never heard anyone have a negative opinion with them. Gimme a run down of what you think if you don't mind...reviews are always a plus for us
