    Cruise Control light flashing.

So my cruise control light was flashing in my 2007 STI. The check engine light was NOT on, and I was driving on snowy icy roads.
The cruise control did not work.
Can I assume the car disabled the cruise control because it thought wheels were slipping?

Cruise control is disabled when a DTC is thrown. What's the code (P####) being given?

If you don't have your own way, go to your local parts store (Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.) and borrow their code reader. They won't charge you.

Crap, I meant to say, the check engine light was NOT on. I read all these other ones about the CEL being on, I accidentally typed that.
