    broke down on the highway HELP!!!

    Was passing a car on the highway, hit full boost and then I lost all power and backfired every time I tried to step on the gas. Got to the shoulder and she died, I checked all the vaccum lines and intercooler piping and everything was good. I tried to start it, it will turn over but won't start. Any ideas or advice will be great. Thanks.

    its a 96 wrx with 3in exost fmic and a boost controler, and nope no CELs

    Well for one, are you running any kind of engine management? Tuned for your mods?

    Do you even have a downpipe?
