    Editing was good.

music and the fact you never really get to hear the cars wasn't a big fan.

Well, I really did try guys. But it looks like we won't be getting any support from the local beaches for the 20th. Most of the beaches said no and the ones that didn't say no said we have to get some type of insurance and pay application fees if we want to have a large group. It's a lot of work just to have a fun day at the beach. And none of them will hold parking spaces, save fire pits or give parking during the peak summer months. But no one can keep us from going to the beach and having a good time on our own while this country is still free, right?. We just won't be able to park all together and I am going to have to get up super early to save us some fire pits. That is if we decide to go to the beach.

Please go to www.subietech.net all of the info.

Dont forget to regester and add your car to the Socal subie section.

This Sunday Aug's 20th is our 5th meet and drive. From the looks of the poll we will be going to wrightwood for a BBQ by the lake. But there is still time to vote so please cast your vote today at subietech.net. IF it is in fact wrightwood for a BBQ, route maps will be passed out at the meet as usual, but our meeting place will be announced in a few days. It will be freeway close so don't worry.
If the vote turns the other way and we go to the beach, we will meet at the beach and will not drive.

The sign up sheet for the BBQ will be up soon.

here is an idea of some of the things we will need.

    Hot Dogs and buns
    burgs and buns
    condiments: mayo, must, relish, cheese
    veggies: lettuce, Tomato, onions
    chips and salsa
    Drinks:soda, iced tea, water, lemonade
    paper plates
    napkins
    plastic forks and knives
    trash bags
charcoal and lighter fluid / lighter
BBQ brush to clean the grill
    etc etc.

Think 99cents stores and smart n final or walmart.

Remember, if you didn't get to vote, please do so now by going to www.subietech.net. The poll will close on Thursday at 11:59pm. So there is still time to cast your vote.
What ever we do, we hope that everyone will come out and have a good time and represent socal subie owners.

also, don't forget to register your car and upload photos in the socal subie section of our website.

    Stay tuned for more info.

Now for those of you think that this meet will not be as good as our past meets, I say to you.~ You don't know what you will be missing..!!

Wrightwood in the summer time is a lot like big bear but with less people. Its Angeles National Forest at its best.

Photo opp's left and right, A hell of a good time by the lake. Plus Good people, Good Food, A Nice Drive with 60+ Subarus and You.! So make it a point to make this meet and drive. you wont want to miss it.

Its not as far as the HB to Maibu meet and drive..
From Hb to Neptunes in Maibul it was 93 miles on our route.

Its only 73.8 miles from costco in norwalk to wrightwood ca..

Shorter, cooler, less lights, less cops, and less traffic.
BBQ by the lake and lots of sick ass subarus

    what more could you want.

Lets get everyone together on this one.

Please go to www.subietech.net for all the info and to view the list of stuff we still need for the BBQ. Whatever you can bring will help out a lot.

And don't forget to add your car and photos to socal subie section while your there.

Thanks in advance to all of you for making this possible. It cant be done with out you!

If anyone wants to caravan from the areas surrounding of West Covina (626). I will be at the Best Buy parking lot around 10-10:30AM. Expect to be at Rancho Costco around 11-11:15. You don't have to post here to come swing by. Might even run into the HB Caravan.
