Since you won't be doing any dissasembly of the struts....it should take less than 2hrs. out with coilovers, in with new assemblies.

tuning is hard. especially with out some kind of dyno where i could do pulls without worrying about police or crashing or running out of road. im thinking of just paying for some dyno time. lets do a dyno day or something. that would be cool

Theoretically, tuning is about the AFR, detonation and peak engine firing issues correct? But what about a new gear ratios? Having a 6-speed will definitely change the entire driving experience. Does a new tune warrant a more efficient way of building boost and taking advantage of those gear ratios?

I need new plugs, new injectors, an EBCS...then i'll probably get a tune by fall 07

true. the problem for me is the way i go about getting the logs to do the tune.

having a 6-speed would also change how the car will feel since your car will be in the "sweet spot" in every gear change.

Now that 06 has come & gone, I feel a bit better about Harman. Last year he seemed a bit "green", but the hassle of Gruppe-S customer service lost attraction.

My friend's cousin has a shop in Sac (subaru specialist, old legacy's, RS, etc) and he offered to help with the swap. Or should I attempt this without pro help?
