work is work. I'm WAITING for my turbo and dying because my wagon is so "slow". I think it's about as fast as your civic

he is located near san diego. turbo seriously only has about 100 miles on it. never boosted over 5psi (because the 2.0 couldnt even spool up the darn thing). the turbo is OIL only no water. umm i think i have a picture of it on my phone

nothing wrong with just oil. you just need to get a turbo timer.
oil and oil/water are pretty much the same when the engine is running. the only difference is that with just oil, you need to let the car idle for a min or so and the water cooled one, you can just shut it off without worrying about coking the bearing
he told me that he want $800 + stock turbo for td06 20g

As for the water lines, does that just get capped off under the hood? I have yet ot take off the turbo, so i'm assuming my current setup has an oil feed & water feed.

i did a little reading and most of the new turbo cars are running water/oil cooled turbos as an added insurance against coking the bearings since most people become too lazy in letting the car cool down properly before shutting off. there is a big debate on the whole subject but thats the conclusion i came to after reading all the arguments.

I let it sit for bit now before shutting off the motor. but with all the stuff in the wagon, i'm getting a proper alarm w/ turbo timer anyway soon after the install.

HEHE waaahh lol i am not glad to hear that ur car is as fast as my civic right now >_< LOL hehe the wagon is coming in around end of aug or sep i think our insurance company is telling us to get the car in OCT but i dont wanna wait that long >_< good thing is i been practicing stick on my friend civic and i got the hang of it now

Nope, i've got H&S Scoobysport Catless Downpipe 2.5" and Stromung 2.5" cat back.

I stuck with the 2.5" piping because of noise issues (the acoustics in the wagon are MUCH worse than the sedans). Try driving around without the rear seats, you'll know what I mean if you have 3" exhaust

I would say that is average not a really good price. I paid $1325 for mine w/ that one ding, off of a show car (Verdugo's old ones). I would aim for 1600 - 1800 if it is just for the rims. 2k isn't that bad if it comes w/ the tires. Or are they new?

EDIT: Blah I read your post all the way through now. I would say go for it but try and haggle a little at least another $100 off.
