    from what I understand, how the place is laid out there is a main stage area to watch from. and with the regulations there are only a few places to watch from that are set up along the course.

    I have to drive to Vegas tomorrow for work, so on my way back, I'll stop at El Mirage again if I have time. Hopefully the lake is open, I want to personally check out the texture & quality of the drive.

    it's in the Lancaster area. Angeles National forest. just look up on mapquest the location of the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds for directions
