Other than the hardware itself, it's all in the tune. I'm not sure where the Accessport will need to talk to the alky controller.

Boost Control Solenoid...yes, it will make a difference on your current setup. Boost can be controlled more accurately and spool time will decrease. Since the boost is accurately predicted, the tune smooths out a bit. But definitely hard to justify a new tune over a $40 part with minimal-moderate gains.

i vote the same Diner @ the block on the 17th...its a sunday so i know ill be good. Just someone please keep me posted on time...and directions from Burbank to the block would prolly help..especially since i dont remember how to get there

If it's for spoolup, I think getting a GM boost controller & retune will help tremendously. When you really start moving some air, the headers are definitely worth it. I have some headers sitting in my garage still, I'm saving up for the rest of the "stuff" before I install & get retune. Eric has the gruppe-s headers on his fozzie, so he can tell you the difference first hand.

I have gtspec headers, and from what i could tell they brought spool up to right around 3200.
