I was suprised to get 23.5 mpg by just driving normally but if i do get on it my gas needle seems to drop a heck of a lot faster. maybe its my tune, its still running on the rich side when on boost
    I'm still up for the swap if you are. I just don't know if I should get in on the 800s without a tune. I don't think i'll be able to tune for another month or so....I have some headers sitting in the garage, still need to get ext wastegate, welding work, GM boost control solenoid, then drive to NorCal for the tune

    driving normally, i'm getting 18-20 on the nose. grandma style drafting on the interstate will get me about 23

    Why drive all the way to norcal for a tune?
    There's a great tuner in the Santa Clarita Valley.

    hey anson, on ur 20g did you change out your turbo inlet for an after market...

    hey guys I might go bigger turbo now (thanks anson) . I was thinking of picking up mikes deadbolt super 16g p/p. How much of a power diffrence is that over my VF-30? also, can I still use my Sti injectors? Or will I also need to upgrade those?

    get EM
    the 16g will spool nice and fast like ur vf30
    it probly will max out ur injectors, meaning you'd be running at 90-100% idc (injector duty cycle)
    however it depends on your power goals, talk to a tuner.

    im about to order my turbo tomorrow, should i got with the forced performance 20g td06 or the deadbolt 20g td06h, and what size injectors should i get?

    either turbo is awesome, i think deadbolt offers free rebuilds for life.
    800cc injectors should be fine..
