I thought the oems were single pot in he back? In any case the better brakes in the front are a great idea. After all, when you slam on the bakes all the momentum and weight will be on those front brakes.

When i changed my brakes the fronts were shot and my rear set still had more than half life. Im at 65k mi and still on my originalset of rear pads

Chris...is it burning up or do you see drops on the driveway?

its not burning or dripping but there is a nice coat of oil all over the bottom of my engine and oil pan. i think i got it located to a rubber oil line that connects to a coolant line because its covered with oil and the hose next to it has no oil on it. now i think i have a bad pulley bearing or something on my eninge. i knew i should have just bought a stock 06-07 2.5 engine instead of lusting over a super uber built motor. if this motor breaks again, there would be no way i could fix it again and ill probably just sell it and get me a hyundai or kia

Umm...i've used this trick on my jeep. But i got a spray bottle of liquid laundry detergent & mixed with water (about 50/50). I covered the entire engine bay with it (cold engine), let it sit for about 20min and hosed it down. everyting was degreased without a slick residue like simple green. After everything was pristine, I found exactly where my oil leak was. On top of that, it smelled spring fresh.

On the recruiting other members, Quality... or lack there of... is the reason (in my opinion) that the team died. I think we need to get back to our roots and screen ALOT more before we hand out numbers.

REDISTRIBUTION ANYONE? we've lost about 70% of our members
    agreed...we need subaru diehards...
can anyone pass the F4 logo/sticker art to me? id hate to send someone all the way to the block for a sticker...trust me..i KNOW a LOT of diehards id feel are worthy o the F4 club name.

also, i think we need some meets...like i said i WILL be at the ESX meet on the 2nd. ill actually be there early. itd be badass if i could get most of us to attend...**** i bet i could keep a section of parking just for members

Yea and anyone that lives close enough, should def hit me up! i think the only people ive seen since coming back were anson and eric!

    oh yea..im good with F4 #20

can we get a list of the active members? also, whats the last number...Dan (i think thats his name) from EDO wants 28 (thats a club hook-up i think) as would be ESX im guessing and whomever else we find that joins with shop connections

i propose the 9th meet at jasons parents MANITORY!

club meeting...esp if we are trying to re-vive it...i know we could potentially become LARGER than F4LV!!

we could also teach the newcommers about their cars..i mean we DO have a really large source of knowledge between all of us (me eing the GC body specialist..lol)

i also say we allow more than wrx's in the club..like hot ass legacy's and foresters..maye even older subarus...maybe call this F4 2.0 ;P

    J,

Does your shop have limited/special access to copper plugs for the rex? All threads on the board are for the ej20. the 06 WRX plugs are NOT the same as the STi ej25.

Since i'm waay beyond +100hp over stock, I might even need 2 steps colder? One step colder for the 06 WRx in copper doesn't exist in NGK. any other brands you can think of? I've been looking for almost a week now online for a decent priced set of coppers.

I basically need 14mm thread, 26.5mm Reach, Gasket seat, 5/8" HEX, and .028-.031 gap.

Sorry, I dont' have anything to offer here. As a matter of fact, i don't think anyone in this group has anything less than 565cc!

By the way, Welcome to the boards. I know you're in kind of a bind right now....but try asking next time. Perhaps even a polite intro and a thank you would work.

Would you walk up to a stranger and say, "Hey! I need this from you". Just because we're on a board doesn't mean manners don't count anymore.

I'm not bashing or trying to be negative...just politely making an observation.Maybe I'll see you in San Diego one of these days & we can trade a friendly handshake & 'hello'.

    Thanks.
