    Dirt Man Checking in:

    Jeff Levine, St. Petersburg, Florida
Graphic Artist for a local offset printer in downtown Tampa.

I've been in the scooby scene since 1998 (99 2.5rs was my first)and finally got my baby in July a Silver, 2002 WRX Wagon. I've got a few mods up my sleeve but I'm on a very tight budget right now.

Brendan here in Greenville, SC. 2003 WRX Wagon, Platinum Silver Metallic. 5 spd., Escort 8500 on the way (she just wants to go, I swear I try to keep it to 55 .)

I am another IT/MIS person, work for a Civil Engineering/Heavy Highway construction company. We build bridges and move dirt around (anyone want to buy some?)

I think there is a highly contagious disease going around called Mod-itus, I believe I have the first signs of infection. Will probably start slow with Subaru "approved" products like the short throw and titanium shift knob, turbo boost gauge, STI muffler and maybe the suspension kit and 17'' wheels. However, seeing as how I usually get carried away with things, I am seriously interested in that Vishnu Stage0 or something similar, sounds like a significant boost for the price. I don't know if they have it set for the 2003 yet. Speaking of which, I have found it a little tricky to find side-by-side comparisons of 02 to 03 models, but that is a discussion for another post.

Welcome to the board! Lemmie clear a little up for you. First of all the 2002 and the 2003 are almost the exact same thing. The vishnu stage 0 will no doubt work just as well on your car as an 02. 2nd, I know those 17" rims look nice in the advertisements...but they are no where near worth the 3,000+ you have to spend to buy them. Also, with the STi parts, dont think you are saving your warranty, because as you purchase them they make sure you read and understand that they do not cover these parts under warranty. *at least factory warranty, they all have individual "manufacturer" warranties* Thats another post all together as well. As for the STi exhaust, It looks pretty and its pretty tempting as well...but check out your other options as well. My advice would be to look into the Prodrive axle back and Cobb Tuning cat back. Both are nice nice setups that although dont bring alot of horsepower...but they give you that perfect tone that just about 100% of their users have been looking for. Good luck, and if you have any questions at all feel free to email me or ask away in the southeast section. Cya,

*short throw is alot of fun as well

Chris here from Granada Hills, CA - but currently based in Miami, FL. Sedona Red Vishnu Stage 2 wagon. Lots of other mods. I'm a studio bean counter here in S. Florida working on a certain film about cracy ricers.

Been a life long sports car fanatic and the WRX is the most recent in a long line of great cars I've been lucky enough to own and drive. Of them all, the WRX is the least fussy and regularly most fun of them all. Wagons should not be this fast

Going to try and get in on the next local meet as I've had a lot of fun times with the local I-Club chapter in SoCal as well as the other car clubs I've met with.
