    Help me out please!!

Okay. I have a question.. I am running a partially open downpipe. There is only a crack between my downpipe and my exhaust. Today I was on my way home and my check engine light came on, my cruise control button was flashing, and the traction control was turned off automatically. Anyone else have problems with running open downpipe? Check engine light? Thanks guys!

It's a 2012 Subaru WRX hatch. Stock tune. All stock except for the exhaust. They said its my O2 sensor.

Fix the crack! Nobody likes publicly exposed crack, least of all your ECU.

Probably rear O2 reading lean because it's sucking air from outside the car into the exhaust past the sensor. I would imagine if you fix the crack and reset the ECU the code will go away.

What's aftermarket about the exhaust? Just so you know, you will need a tune to safely run an aftermarket downpipe.

Fix the exhaust leak, reset the ECU, see if it comes back. Is it P0420? That typically means poor cat performance and should not show up with the stock DP

Sounds exactly like what my car did this weekend...I have a small exhaust leak as well and got a P2096 which is what Robin (Mainframe) said.
