    Hi guys,

Just bought an 05 Black/Silver Sti. Only up to 100 miles so far. Glad to see there are some locals, didn't get any replies on another forum I joined. Still getting used to the car, but so far definitely happy about the decision.

    Cya round.

    Hey H,

Was that you on South Clearview on Friday? You turned off on Earhardt and I went northbound in the white/gold STi with dark tint.

Who'd you buy it from, Bill?

    Curtis,

Actually I turned off on Airline, saw you continue on, and yeah, bought it from Bill. Nice ride btw--have to check it out sometime. I am still breaking mine in, had it for about a week and a half--only 250 miles so far... Made me laugh to see you post that, as I was going to post and ask if it was someone on this forum.

    Cya round.

    And thanks Chud.

    It's a small, small world

    It's a small world, H.

Airline; I stand corrected. I'm getting old, the mind is going.

I usually get down to Performance on Friday or Saturday. Probably run into you there someday. If not, hopefully you will make it out to the subaru day at NPR on October 22, if they stop changing the date, that is.

    Peace,

    Curtis

    Curtis,

What do you go to Performance for on Friday/Saturday? And I plan to go the NPR--may be just as a spectator, not sure yet.

I go to hang out, have lunch, BS, whatever. It's pretty much all car nuts down there. I've got friends down there. Bill and I race and drive together.

Spectating at NPR is no where near as fun as driving. Once you've turned some laps you'll get the bug. Subaru day is a good place to start. First, it's FREE. A regular track lapping day on the full course will run you ~$100.

If you have little to no track experience, you will drive your car with an instructor riding along. We help you with learning the line, braking, accelerating, blah, blah, blah. It's really a good place to learn the limits of your car. Autocross is good for this as well, but at considerably slower (safer) speeds.

You should come out and give it a try. There a couple of autocross events scheduled for 6/27. Check delta-scca.com and cenla region's site (follow link from delta).

Cool, Bill really seems like a great guy. And I could definitely use the experience on the track and getting to know the limits of my car better. I'll have to stop by over the weekend and talk to Bill. Hope to see you around, thanks for the tip.

    Exclamation Sedan parts needed!

    Hey guys,

Do any of you have any of these parts that might be spare off of your sedan?

    1. Control arms- stock or aftermarket
    2. Rear lateral links- stock or aftermarket
    3. Rear axle shafts
    4. Front sway bar endlinks- stock or aftermarket

I am converting my wagon suspension to sedan parts and need to keep the parts budget low. Just thought somebody might have somthing I can use.

    thanks,
    chad
