NPR only requires a helmet if you break 12's. Gulfport requires them for everyone. I found out the hard way, and that is why they suck. Well, that and the fact that it is old and run down.

But NPR is cool. I really like the road course. Just so far away.

They have a link to directions on the website. It is a little confusing the firstntime there, but isn't really too bad of a trip. They are out in the middle of no where, so make sure you have everything you need.

what time are you leaving and what time do you anticipate coming back. I may try to ditch work that evening.

We will be leaving at about 5:30pm. If you wanted to go, pm me.

*edit* i have no idea what time we would be coming back, or how much it costs. i'm sure that we would leave there no later than 10pm and it's an hour and a half drive back (i guess) so should be back here before midnight

the only one that i would take my car to would be the one on David Drive. it's right behind laffeniere park (sp?) its between W.napoleon, and vets. my friend took his car there before he traded it in, and they made it look brand new. i mean they reconditioned the leather and everything. and even bumped the trade-in value of the car a little because it looked pristine.

its called Johnny's. go there and talk to a guy named Al. i don't know him personally, but just got the phone with my friend and he said to talk to him. really nice guy.

the results from last night = i suck as a driver =P

First time out, i ran a 15.3. i bogged the launch at 2 grand, wasn't ready for the lights. Second time around i hit a 14 flat. i should be around a 13.7 according to Bo with my setup. (intake, catback, boost controller @ 16psi)

Jason needs a new clutch, his best run was a 13.40. He couldn't get anything decent. used to run 12.50's all day.

Joey and his SRT-4 ran a 14.2 on the first pass, then hit a 13.30.

Brad ran a 13.001 - was so pissed that he didn't hit the 12's hehe

Mike in the Tiberan (sp?) ran a 15.5 i believe and shut it down.

Chad D didn't come, and Bo didn't drive his car. So that's everything. It was a fun night overall, i can't wait to go back and get a little faster time slip.

I will post my timeslip when i get to work tonight.
