Based on my limited experience, no. He charges ridiculous rates (I was quoted $700 for a tune? lol...on average I have paid ~$200. $400 tops.) and he is an aggressive upseller, which I find to be an annoyance. People have said he's messing up motors lately, but that's just what I've heard and I have no actual experience with their work.
The only problem is, I don't know who else in Texas currently tunes UTECs. I'm pretty sure FIS closed down because their site is gone. MZM, Cobb, and AWDtuning don't do UTEC. Alamo Autosports might, but they are an EVO shop.

Yeah getting a UTEC tune or open source in TX is a pain. Thats the reason I went back to COBB, had vs1 ap, then got UTEC and couldnt get it properly tuned so went to vs2 COBB. Go COBB![]()
