Based on my limited experience, no. He charges ridiculous rates (I was quoted $700 for a tune? lol...on average I have paid ~$200. $400 tops.) and he is an aggressive upseller, which I find to be an annoyance. People have said he's messing up motors lately, but that's just what I've heard and I have no actual experience with their work.Originally Posted by Bluesoob02

Yeah getting a UTEC tune or open source in TX is a pain. Thats the reason I went back to COBB, had vs1 ap, then got UTEC and couldnt get it properly tuned so went to vs2 COBB. Go COBB

How is getting an Opensource tune (or UTEC) difficult? I found OS tunes quite easy to get.

Around here its difficult to find anybody(good) to do them. Everybody wants to tune w/COBB

Neat. Well I had Innovative tune my bugeye a long time ago, I think when I go home to visit Ill try to get in there, they're worth the drive haha
