Nice. I'm fairly new to the area. Only been in Houston 2 years now. Originally from Northeast Texas.

Updated profile picture. No mods or anything at this time. Fun car though. Been steadily reading up on modification.

Nice. I'm in Spring just about every Tuesday. My company has a men's softball team and we play at Collins Park.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Nick any plans for your car?

I've ordered the Perrin shifter bushing, Rally Armor Mud Flaps and a license relocation kit.

    that's it so far.

Well I did the relocating of the front plate. To the passenger side using the Grimmspeed kit. Other than that I'm trying to get an idea of what I can do reasonably. I'd like the access port, but with all the talk of ringland failure. I wince a bit at the thought. This shifter bushing. What kind of a difference are we talking? I mean just overall smoother shifting?

I haven't received the shifter bushing yet. keep in mind I'm driving a 15 wrx vs your 14 sti, so perhaps yours is different. that being said the shifter bushing is suppose to provide a solid feeling when you put it in gear. Plus for 22 bucks its worth the try.

Additionally, I have thought about lowering the car. I plan to do a little autocross here in Houston. I have a buddy that raves on and on about it. Figure I'll give it a shot. More of a road course designed around time attack and handling being a big part of that. He is running a Toyota MR2. Says they get a lot of BRZ and FRS along with STi in the events. Figure it might be fun, and does require a lot of HP.

10-4 on the bushing. I'll have to look into it. Overall mine is pretty smooth. Did think about changing the Trans fluid. Here good things about AMS oil fluid. I find I fight my self on the subject of HP. Mainly cause I know some guys running ridiculous 911s with 850 plus HP. But I know what kind of money that would mean for the subie. Crazy amount of work and money to get even to 500 HP. But we can all have dreams right? Haha
