Searched for the above topic but came up empty handed.

The rear diff om my 03 WRX is sweatimg a bit of fluid. Some say that this is normal and as long as it does not turn into a big leak i should be OK. I disagree. If it leaks it should be fixed, hence the question , has anyone done a rear diff removal on their car?. Was watching Wheeler Dealers the other day and they replaced the diff seal on a Triumph Stag.

Can I assume the process to be the same on a WRX. Remove sideshafts, undo prop bolts and diff mount and diff should pull of the prop.

Strip down change gasket and re-assemble.

Is this accurate?
