its not worth the hassle, as you'll need the sti turbo, which is the same size as your current one, just a different flange on it. so its rather pointless to replace just to get a slightly larger oem intercooler, which probably wont even gain you 1hp in all reality. save the money and get a good TMIC designed for the base wrx.

you may be sure, but you are wrong. the sti turbo has a completely different flange on it than your wrx one does. so no it wont fit unless you do a turbo swap to an sti turbo and...ah just read above lol
