BOVs are pointless and will ruin your car.

Tell me how they'll ruin your car? A recirculating BOV doesn't hurt your car, And an atmostpheric one is the one that will hurt ur car at all because it screws with the MAF sensor and puts an extra squirt of gas in because its letting air out that the MAF already read. You'll get a little pop sometimes which isn't good for your car but it won't "ruin" it.

We're well aware of how it works.

It won't ruin your car, but you may foul your plugs more often. If you have any catalytic converters, you may cause irreversible damage to the cats over time. As for Mikie's statement: it will ruin the car by making it irreversibly ricey.

Might not "ruin" it but still why would you waste money on a part that will harm your cars performance.

It would be helpful if you posted the year/model these parts fit...

It would also be helpful if you posted the manufacturer/brand name of the parts...
