Cobb uses a security system to prevent someone from gettting a Cobb tune and then passing off their Accessport (AP) for someone else to use . It's like buying a software license.
When you first mate an AP to your car, it collects the ECUs unique information and "marries" itself to your car. It will not work on any other vehicle until you "unmarry" it from your car which removes any tune you've uploaded to the ECU from the AP and returns the ECU tune to its original state pre-AP.
If you buy an AP that is still married, you will have a nice paperweight unless you pay Cobb a fee to "unmarry" it.
If you want to buy a used AP, always look that it has been unmarried.

will you take less than 400
$300 for it?
Is this the same one you've listed twice before?
So you've had 3 of these all for the same car and you've sold them all? I've been looking for one but notice u listed this 3 time on this site. Curious, that's all.
Yea pretty weird.
Was about to buy then saw the other 3 postings made me think twice.

We consider it to be Vending if you're using ClubWRX to sell multiples of the same item. (as opposed to items bought for personal use and then resold) Please contact admin@clubwrx.net, or screen name BlazinWRX if you'd like info about how to become a ClubWRX vendor.
Thanks!
