On the taillights, is it film which can be removed or was it painted on? Are there any problems with them?

The taillights have VHT nightshades (red). I'm sure its easily removed. nothing is wrong with the tailights, I did take a couple of bulbs out to put in my new ones, other then that they work fine, just buy a couple of bulbs and your good to go.

Definitely not easy to remove, need to wet-sand or lacquer it out. Anyways, GLWTS!

I guess, goof-off takes it right off, then a little rubbing compound to do the trick, They have been in my attic so just trying to clear it out. I dont want to just throw them out.
