    just like the title says. Looing on the east coast unless your planning on shipping it cheap. Want it to be in good running condition. Obviously like as low miles as possible. Let me know what you have. bought a 02 wrx with a bad motor and need another one to get it on the road just shoot me a pm and ill respond asap

    You might want to stick with the 2.0L. The 2.5L will require a new wiring harness, plugs for the AVCS, throttle body, etc. The 2.5L Longblock isn't just a "bolt-on" for the older WRXs. Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with your motor? A rebuild might be cheaper than buying a whole new motor assuming your block and heads are in good shape. Plus you'll get stronger internals!

    oh ok I gotcha yea I didnt do as much research as i should of done .

    the old motor I am keeping and am going to be doing a long term build on. Looking to pick up a wrecked shell or something along those lines as a project that I can throw a little bit of money at here and there.
    (having withdraw since I sold my 05 wrx )


    This motor is going to be put into my brothers 02 bugeye so he can use it as a DD

    btw thanks for the heads up. guess ive been gone from the subies to long lately lol

    would you want to do a hybrid swap? i have a 2.5 sti short block for sale with LOW miles. all you gotta do is slap on some 2.0 heads and it will bolt right up to your 5spd trans

    OP, if you're doing a rebuild, I highly suggest that you do this ^^^

    I got a 2.0L 2003 WRX block forsale.Only 55k miles on it.Motor was runnin before i took it apart.I also got the heads...
