Are you sure you want a Blow Off Valve instead of a Recirculating Valve? A BOV makes your car run rich after shifting producing lag and making you slower. I would go with a Recirc valve they are loud enough and effective.

rich.. they run rich on throttle lift with a bov or any other valve that dumps to atmosphere. You're dumping metered air .. so the ecu matches fuel to air that isn't coming into the engine. Thus, rich between gears.

It will cause driveability issues. That is a definite.

save you're money and put it toward something that will actually gain you some hp instead of funky response and attention from cops.

The car will also run lean, Shawn, as the closed loop cycle detects the rich condition and adjusts the IDC.

    Double fix

so not only do you have a bore washdown problem from running rich you also have detonation on throttle input after the dump .. both making the car run like poooo.

Nice.. great way to fk up an engine (granted will take a while) ..
So bottom line, the cool woosh noise isn't worth the pita that will eventually follow.

spend that money on a sway bar or bushings instead and be happy with tighter handling.

Replacing the stock air box will dramatically increase you Recirc valve ten fold, mine sounds great! Heard both inside the car and out.
