they all look they same. I have a crappy ebay one, and the perrin looks almost identical to it. The only difference is the location of the two nozzles toward on the side that connect to the intakes.

So they don't look the same.

    That's my point.

I will have to agree that no irrefutable proof has been offered by either side. You guys can speculate all you want but at least pick a particular brand (ebay is not a brand). Even if Gimick is rebranded from something someone else sells on ebay at least the stuff is fairly consistent which does not hold true for ebay as a whole. Plus they seem to have good customer service.

Besides, the Perrin one is not much more than Gimick and it does have the wire in it despite someone claiming that it looks the same other than the nozzles.

all that really matters is the fact that under high horsepower the APS or a wired Silicone one are the only ones worth running.

Eh, the Samco one still seems to be the top of the line for silicone and IIRC has no wire. It is supposed to be considerably beefier though.

Well the c6r looks like a duck but isn't. lol There is a tiny piece of frame in the car which is required by rules. Other then that there is nothing corvette about it besides it's "looks"

That's is really my only gripe. All I asked for was proof that it was the same besides that they look to be the same. lol Wasn't really attempting to be a prick about it. Forums are great for information but also have a bunch of misinformation. I was probably going to get a gimick since I've never heard any fitment issues but I guess I'll just work an extra saturday and get one worth it.

I remember seeing someone on youtube doing a silicone comparison and how they hold up to heat with a hot iron. The good name brand silicone ones wouldn't even mark up. The cheap ones just melt. I'll see if I can find it.

I said the construction was the same. Which constitutes more than "oh, they look similar". The only way I could prove it to you the way you want is to show up at your house with one of each or get Gimmick to post that their vendor sells on eBay too. For comparison purposes, I've owned Samco hoses and my Perrin intake is part silicon tube.
