Unhappy 02 wrx- Coilpacks all four?

Have been dealing with Misfire codes, cel-

already read thread about how to solve the problem,
Changed all four sparkes, got ngk as recomended on thread and gaped them.

It is IMO unlikely to have all four coils or all four of anything fail simultaneously. Something else might be wrong instead.

    Basicly had, misfire 1,2,4
    reset , and changed plugs.
    then again 1,2,3,

now i have ecu code going off as well.

so i figured ight be a coil, as car does hisitate and stuter a bit.

kinda rives me up the wall.

    thinking just changing coil,s

Is the car modified? You might try posting in one of the troubleshooting fora here or on other sites to see if someone can help you pinpoint the problem. The earlier 02 models were known for semi-random misfire errors but there hasn't been much info lately, it's been years. Since your car hasn't done this forever presumably I'm thinking something else, not the coils, could be wrong. Might save you some time and money to make sure.
