    Do not buy from Diesel_Fuel

Do not buy anything from member Diesel_Fuel. I paid for a Greddy Profec B II boost controller on Jan 31 via Paypal and asked for a tracking number. Diesel_Fuel said he sent via USPS and they didn't provide a tracking number. After trying to contact him again to find out what the heck is going on, he has not responded to any PM's. Also, the email address he has listed at Paypal is no longer in use.

I filed a claim with Paypal but many of you know how that normally goes. Paypal never takes any responsibility for any security breaches even though they always love to take those Paypal fees.

I'm sure he is long gone by now, but the moral of the story is be careful!

Good tips. I thought PayPal stands behind their seller/buyer protection policy? The trick is that you must, absolutely must, file a claim with PayPal ASAP. I think after 14 days (off the top of my head), it's too late.

I filed a dispute with Paypal last week and they first try to contact the seller. As of today, the seller has not responded to Paypal. He has 15 days to respond or Paypal makes their verdict. The only thing I'm afraid of is the Paypal account was fraudulently assumed. The seller was using a business account that had some feedback/transactions so I thought it was safe.

He ripped me off on the same part. I filed a claim a week after payment sent and paypal just denied my claim due to fraud.
    This is really agrevating.

I also was denied any recourse through Paypal. They ruled in my favor but said they could not recover any of the $$$. I wonder if a dispute with my credit card company would do anything?

Try the credit card fraud I have friends who only use their credit card through paypal, because they say they have no hassle getting any money back

I believe this might be the same guy.

I have found him all over the net, not sure if it is our exact scammer or not.
