Looking again for a WRX: 04-06

Hi all,

I was looking for a WRX last summer but did not end up buying one. Now I am back to doing the same.

I am in Canada and am looking at making the trip across the border to save a few bucks. To make the process easier, I am looking at buying from a dealership, even though it will cost a bit more.


Right now, I have my eye on two cars: an 05 with 35k miles for $18,000 and an 06 with 26k miles listed for $21,000.

If I were to contact a dealer to buy either of these cars, what should I be realistically trying to pay?

i wouldnt pay more than 18k or 19k for the 06

and maybe 16-17 k for the 05

Go with what the Sammich Makin Pwincess said. For a little insight, i got an 05 STi with 20,340 miles on it for a little over $23K.

It seems like lots of you are getting much better prices than I am seeing.

Perhaps there is a big difference between prices in some northern states versus say Cali or Texas???
