then lets go for a drive. by the way, my uppipe leak is back again. i heard it about a month ago, was about to fix it right way and be done with my new gasket, then it all of a sudden went away. i was driving up mt ashland yesterday and it felt hella slow and i coulndt figure out why (boost gauge was inactive b/c my hks bov has been off lately) and then i closed my cutout and i could hear the screeching leak. another fun day ahead i guess.

    i hope not...possible though.

but today again in the morning as i left my friends house, (okay it was like 12, but the car was cold) i heard the leak, but when it warms up and the metal expands the leak goes away- at least i think, becasue its leaking one time then not the next, but i dont always hear it because of my cutout...

When you installed it... did you loosen all related brackets, etc... so that turbo had a bit of give either way? That was my problem the first time I installed mine. I loosened everything then re-tightened the uppipe to turbo first, manifold to uppipe second then downpipe to turbo. After that I retightened all the brackets. When I started it up my leak was gone.

Uppipe to manifold is most prone to leaks, and should be tightened before uppipe to turbo.

    yes, yes i did.

and i did that. but i did not loosen the manifold to head....

    on a side note, i hit 16 psi in 2nd today.......5th gear got 17.
this is with the cutout open, however, about a psi lower in every gear with normal catless through the full exhaust
