Dave, I thought mine had a short shifter but it seems to be a pretty long throw. How can I tell? If it isnt a short shift I'll buy it from you.

Bo heres the technical way to measure: get a measuring tape and measure from the top of the threads to the bottom of the shifter, now get the tape, unzip your pants and measure your twig if the shifter is close to the lenth of the twig then you know that its short!

So my Mobil 1 rep came in last week and was talking to me about oil. Which is pretty cool because I have known this guy for a long time because he is the same guy whether it is car or motorcycle. So we get to talking about the Subaru's and he tells me about the newest oil out by Mobil 1 for Motorcycles. It is for High Horsepower and torque low cc motors (2.5 and less cc's he claims) So it is supposed to help protect a motor running flat tappets to help reduce wear on the camshafts and the roller assembly which is perfect for us subaru guys. He was talking to the guy in Kendall Subaru about it who circuit races his impreza. I guess this guy is switching over to it after doing some testing and reading some info. So I am going to give it a go. It is a 10w40 variety but since it is 100% synthetic acts more like a 7w30 than an actual 10w40. It is mobil 1 t4r
