The wagon is a bit trickier than the sedan, because of the second pump on the washer fluid bottle for the rear wiper. I ended up having to drain most of the fluid via siphon into a bottle so I could pull the hoses off the bottle (the pumps stay open when off, so the fluid just starts draining out when you pull the hoses).

The engine seems to sit a bit higher in the RS too, so it wasn't so cramped. Noelle's car seemed like child's play compared to mine.

Some stuff that makes it cooler, unless you work for Subaru, in which case it's completely stock.

Yeah... doing plugs at 3am = swapped coil packs

The OBS is growing on me, I just need a bumper sticker that reads "I'm not a soccer mom"

Just picked my car up at Lithia Honda, and it drives better than when it was new. This is what the clutch SHOULD have felt like from the factory. And what's truly amazing is that they got it done in a day and they aren't even Subaru specialists!

The tech said the Spec pressure plate was warped, either because the springs weren't putting even pressure on it, or because the piece wasn't actually true to begin with. I'm going to see if I can get a refund on it from CVR Motorsports. If not them, then my next call will be to Spec I guess.

The Spec clutch kit was $380, which compared to $509 for an Exedy kit seemed like a great price. But I think it's obvious I should have gone with the Exedy, or just an OEM replacement to begin with.

So Wade, the tech just told me that DHM left your carrier bearring bolts finger tight, he forgot to mention that to you. He said you had a couple more threads left so good thing you drove it sparingly or those bolts would of been gone and probably been some damage to the undercarriage since there is a lot of slack in the driveshaft when those bolts are out.

As if I needed another reason to be pissed at DHM Maybe that explains the strange sound I heard when I was on the freeway on the way home from DHM the first time. It felt/sounded like I was driving over the seams in concrete slab, but I was on asphalt.

Tell the tech the car feels great, and he must have been a Subie tech in a past life

Yea like I said man, a Certified Tech is a Certified Tech. If he works on Honda's you can pretty much work on any other Japanese Manufacturers product without much difficulty. Especially with all the books and internet literature a dealership has at its fingertips.
