So i can see that there is not enough traffic on this thread... Hopefully that will change.
Is there any meets that anyone knows of around here?

The Oregon thread is very, very dead. I think Jen had some meets at the Lloyd Center awhile back, but not much going on. I go to the Cobb Surgeline First Thursday meets usually, but it's awkward to stand around and look at cars exactly like yours owned by people you don't really want to talk to. At least that's my antisocial take on the matter...

I agree With every car being the same it can get boring. I have been to a couple jdm meets in salem never with my car but they're always fun because someone try's to show off and they end up breaking something lol, it's amateur hour in those meets, but the diversity is why i love going. However I really dont want to drive up to portland, i enjoy the country setting where im from. You can do so much more with your car when there isn't a house within a mile lol, I love the open country roads of linn county.

Oh I'm very familiar with rural areas. I graduated from OSU, so I know the Albany/Corvallis/Philomath area well. There are some excellent roads way up in the coast range off of Highway 20, just need to know where to look. The Mary's Peak hillclimb is a good one too, especially with all of the snow it gets. When the snow packs up over the gates, you can just drive right over them

I live in Newberg now, so still fairly rural.

Sweet You should let me know if you ever make a trip this way during the weekend. I can grab a few people to cruise up there with. In this area I rarely see another wrx or sti driving around. There all over in salem..

I believe the only silver available in 02 was platinum silver metallic or PSM.

Wow, that commute must suck. Do you take 99 all the way to I-5, or do you cut over to Tualatin?

I've probably seen you at some point, I'm on 99 all the time. I have a black bugeye sedan with a "Pacific Wonderland" license plate. It looks stock on the outside.

    Yup, 99 to I5

On the way home I often take the backroads through wine country. Some great pavement to dirt roads. Bald peak isn't too shabby a drive either, unless I get caught behind a Mitsubishi:$

Hi everyone. I just purchased a 02 bugeye WRX last Saturday from woodburn. I live in Albany. Just wanting to introduce myself. I had a SVT Focus for a long time until it got totaled last year. Now i've upgraded to a WRX!
