    Thumbs up Oreygun

What's up everyone! New to the forum. Just got my 2007 WRB WRX TR in December and thought i'd start poking around. Pretty standard car, has a catback exhaust and i'm getting ready to do the silencer delete shortly. Where do all the Oregon Subie owners meet up to hang out and drink some beers?

Okay so I wasn't going to post until I got my car, but I need some help. I'm looking at buying an 09 wrx saturday. Only problem is I'm sure I'm not going to get it for the price I want so the alternative is buying an 08 or going older and just modding the balls out of it. What I want to know is the difference between the 08 and older versions.....06, 05 and such. I know the difference between the 09 and 08 but I'm just trying to see if buying an 08 is worth it or should i just get a used older one! HELP!!! ty much

I honestly think the 08s are the worst since the 02. Dont get me wrong the 02 is an awesome car but had the weakest trans. Minor body differences obviously but all generally the same. The 02-03 the difference was trans and colors, the 04-05 the difference was interior total change and the 05 had painted sideskirts stock, 06-07 had a big brake change between prior years, trannies on 06s were also weak since the motor was now the 2.5 liter.

    I have an 08

Pay the extra for the 09 or go 07 sti. 08's aren't worth it.

Welcome Feyd! I am from canby but I have cycled through Willamina. Stopped for pizza there. Nice little town.
