yea well they said because my car hasn't had enough drives on it, i don't know what that means but?? so there gonna empty my gas tank and drive it for a day and then try and go through again. and my sponsor sent me a 50 dollar check yesterday lol for some brake decals
what they mean by "the lack of drives on it" is that the ecu doesnt have enought drive cycles on memory. after you reset an obd2 ecu it clears the drive cycle memory and trouble codes. before there was obd2 people used to have a trouble code that would make them fail deq, so they would reset the ecu drive around the block and then go back in and get scanned--and pass. due to this on obd2 ecu's there is a required amount of drive cycle memory that must be stored in memory or a soft code ( one only found via scanning) will be present. im not sure how many drive cycles are required on subies as im kinda new to them, however on most other japanese cars it is usually about 30 miles of drive time (total) and 20 on/off cycles during those miles.
