Wingless alas. Too bad it took a 50 ton truck to make it happen.

Where at in WA are you? I'm in Gig Harbor so anywhere in Tacoma's a good place for me.

    How about Olympia?

Like the State Capital perhaps, its scenic, right next to 101 to head to Long Beach and a good resting point for those coming from Seattle/Tacoma area. Also I know of some good places to eat nearby.

    Thoughts?

List of people coming down from WA

Mostly those going Southbound from Seattle, Tacoma, Puyallup areas or further North.

    For coordination purposes.

I'm up for training along too - Tacoma sounds good for me, I'm driving down from Redmond. Where/when and I'll be there!

What rout are we taking from PDX?

Just curious. HWY 30 seems like the most obvious way, but I just did a search on Google Earth and got this rout. HWY 26 to Fishhawk Falls HWY 103 to Nehalem HWY/OR-202 to US-101. I'm guessing it'll be a longer drive, but the part between 26 and 101 looks awful fun to drive . Unless the road condition is bad that is. Anyway, like I said I'm just curious. I've never car trained too, so I don't know if that comes into play when choosing a rout.

We are meeting in Longview, but in between there is up to the 2 groups(washington peeps and oregon peeps). I am for going on a curvey road, but we need to be able to keep track of all in the train. We also need to meet others that may be on the way. So being on a more traveled road would help locating the others on the way.

Jen- What do you think? I like the idea of a fun road, but I am not sure who we have to meet on the way there. Let us know.
