Anyone in the Mountain Home/ Boise area that has a Cobb Access Port that they are willing to share? I'm willing to pay a little for use. Oh and I would need the Cobb Access Port for the 2008 WRX. I just want the stage 1 map.

I would recommend being careful with spitfire tuning.
    They currently have my car.
I gave it to them intending to do an engine build the monday before thanksgiving 2011.

The other things I am adding:
    Blouch 20g-xt-r
    Coating headers, up-pipe, down pipe.
    Aquamist hfs-5.
    L & E quick column.
    Inverted BC coilovers.

They told me it was going to be a week's worth of work (consistent with other shops I spoke with in California and Utah).
The day before Thanksgiviving they told me there were going to be delays due to the holiday and machine shop/coating work.
    That was fine.

Two weeks later I told them I thought it would be done already and complained about not having the car back-
They told me that they could get a rental for $30 a day (fine, but that isn't their job- their job is to perform work as agreed).

Around Christmas they still didn't have my ceramic coating work back (if they had told me the way they do coatings takes 3 weeks to a month, I would have declined).

Last week I came in they had an issue with a starter- I drove down there in a rental and spent two days sourcing a rebuilt starter from NAPA.
Then they had an issue with #1 cylinder flooding. They thought it was a stuck injector. They took the injectors out found out it wasn't stuck.
Turns out the aquamist diagram they were using was wrong- they corrected the wiring.

I told them to do a compression test. It was not until the fourth hour of attempting to get the car running that they looked at compression at all.
Mind you this is with me present in their shop for all the work they were doing.
They found out that all the gas they had put into cylinder # 1 had resulted in a blown headgasket.

I would still be in their shop if it were not for the fact I had to start work In Augusta, GA Monday the 30th.
They knew I was starting a new job 2 weeks into the process.

By the way, my car is the silver sti on their facebook- they have had it for 2.5 months.
The white wrx is another customer's car. It came in with a damaged engine. I do not think they have done anything to it, because the guy hasn't paid them.

If any of you own that car, and have not commited money to them, flatbed it to Utah and get someone who won't run you around to fix the car (They probably would still be baffled by the fuel issue if I had not been there).

Their lack of timeliness makes me very upset.
Every time I call or complain to them, they tell me, "we took less time and money then other shops would,".
They are not done 10 weeks in!
Other shops would have been complete, had very slightly higher cost, and proven track records on our cars (truetune in bountiful, Utah being the prime example).

Monday my car will be getting shipped. I gave them one last extension before I left (they agreed the car would be complete before 1 week from today- meaning either a. here in Georgia or b. well on it's way here).

That means they have to ship it Monday. If it isn't complete, they will be shipping it to topspeed so that someone who is decent can work on the car.

If they do not ship it out Monday, I will fly there and take the car back. If this happens, I will be bringing the police.
