    Moving to Alaska....

My wife is Active Duty Air Force and just got orders to Anchorage Alaska. Anybody here from or been there? Wondering how a modded WRX will take the cold.

It'll love it. Just make sure it gets no mold in the car, the wild life loves cars

Is there a big elevation change compared to where you are now? That would affect the car more than the cold and could require a tweaking of the tune. As far as the cold, you may find that you have to change some habits i.e. starting the car and letting it run for a while before driving or even getting an engine block heater or blanket of some sort.
