Considering that Perrin manufacture some of the best WRX parts out there, and build some of the most well known tuned WRX's in North America, yeah, I'd say they're good

you can give Bobby a Call and stop by the shop and get a feel of the place and the guys. PRE is a Vendor here on CLUB.

    503-619-0055 is the shop number.

I dont know anyone personally who has a tune by perrin.

I object to this. I own several Perrin pieces and the quality is lacking IMO. Since Perrin does not design or MFG an EM solution, they are probably just as good or worse than the next shop, and no doubt overpriced for what you get. I'd go to PRE.

I Dont have anything Perrin on my car... Used to have a boost controller of theirs once... didnt work right... and way over priced for what it was. So, the item came off and I had a TurboXS but now I'm just using stock along with my Cobb AP.

Well, ok :| I probably should have added to my post that none of this was from personal experience, and that I was just posting from what I had heard.

I have no experience with PRE, but from the number of people I've talked to with high praise for their tuning work, they would probably be your best bet

What other services does PRE offer? Do they do mechanical work or suspension/engine upgrades as well? I might be getting some new springs soon and don't want to install myself.

    thanks

Chicago might be a little bit of a drive to Gresham, OR. But I'm sure they'd gladly help you out.
